Summer Museum Night 2025: Free Entry and a Lively Program
A night when the tower comes alive.
The Summer Museum Night is a nationwide event when museums and cultural institutions across Slovenia open their doors for free. It’s a true celebration of curiosity, culture and a relaxed evening atmosphere.
The Ptuj City Tower also invites you to discover its mysterious world in a unique way on 21 June. Creativity, exploration and the panoramic view from the top await you late into the evening. The tower will be open until 11:30 PM, with free entry starting at 5:30 PM!
- 17:30–19:30
Create your own bell and clock
On the third floor of the tower, a creative workshop awaits children (and the young at heart). Together, we’ll make bells and simple clocks and reflect on how people used to measure time. The Tower Guardian might make an appearance! - 19:30–21:30
Guided tour of the tower
The first tour will be in Slovene (at 19:30), the second in English (at 20:30). We’ll explore the history, learn how the mechanical clock and bell work, and enjoy a breathtaking view from the top. - 17:30–23:30
Challenge for the Curious
Throughout the evening, you can explore the tower on your own and discover its hidden corners. If you enjoy observing, solving small challenges and uncovering details others miss – this is for you.
One more thing:
Although entry is free, the number of visitors in the tower is limited (up to 40 people at a time), so we kindly ask you to book your time slot in advance.
