Carnival workshop – Paint a handkerchief for a kurent and paint your face
Are you ready to call spring into the city? Carnival time is just around the corner! This year, make sure the Kurents are especially proud of you, and that you are ready for the wildest celebration. Join us for a creative weekend!
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING?
GIFT FOR A KURENT According to old tradition, girls tie a handkerchief to the Kurent’s club. This year, these handkerchiefs will be unique! We will paint white handkerchiefs with motifs of carnival and love using special colors. Every Kurent will be happy to receive such a gift!
CARNIVAL TRANSFORMATION To blend in with the carnival atmosphere, face paints will be available. Transform yourself into a fairytale creature or draw a carnival detail – fun guaranteed for children and adults!
WHEN AND WHAT TIME?
The workshop takes place over two days, so you can join us whenever suits you best:
- Saturday, February 14: 13:30 – 16:30
- Sunday, February 15: 10:30 – 13:30 (Great opportunity to get ready just before the big international parade in Ptuj!)

Important: The number of places at the workshop is limited, so we strongly recommend that you secure your spot in advance by purchasing a ticket online.

- Children up to 15 years: FREE (Reservation still required!)
